Brunch @ Eatonville

Yesterday I got a text from my friend Kelly asking if I wanted to do brunch!? Um yes!!

She chose Eatonville on 14th Street. I had never been but it was on my list of restaurants to try!

After chatting for a while, drinking lots of coffee, and having difficulty choosing from the great brunch menu, I decided on the Catfish and Grits!

The fish was huge, moist, and lightly crusted with cornmeal over a bed of cider-braised collard greens, tomato butter, and jalapeno-gruyere heirloom grits! HOLY COW! Each bite was better than the next…

Kelly ordered the Arugula Spinach Frittata with sautéed shitake mushrooms, grape tomatoes, avocado, crumbled feta, basil pesto, a buttermilk biscuit and a side of greens! She said she really enjoyed it!

Hey Kelly! Sorry about the bad lighting…

We had such a great time and the food was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to do it again soon!
