After Bobby Rush, we went to go see Cee Lo Green but the place was absolutely MOBBED! We waited as long as we could but I got way too hot and needed to sit down, so we left. I’m glad we did because we heard Cee Lo didn’t even really sing! LAME!

Claw-shoe.

Lemon-lime sno-ball! Amazing!! I really, really wanted one!!

The main acts get super crowded so we got to hear Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, but didn’t get to see the stage! That’s ok…they still sounded great! Check out the YouTube Clips!

Our dinner reservation for Saturday night was at John Besh’s LüKE restaurant! We walked in and immediately loved the atmosphere. Not too loud, not too pretentious, and there was beautiful wood everywhere!

Half carafe of Merlot!

A dozen Gulf oysters on the half shell!

These were incredible. Incredible!

Salad Lüke – local bibb lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, beets, buttermilk dressing

I ordered the Grilled Gulf Fish that came with fennel, garlic, artichokes, mushrooms, crawfish and the best sauce I’ve ever had. I’d have a hard time not ordering this if we ever went back to Lüke. It was so flavorful, perfectly cooked, and expertly executed.

z ordered the Fresh Gulf Fish with a meunière (brown butter, chopped parsley, and lemon) sauce and a side of veggies and potatoes. His dish was also executed extremely well!

Although we were pretty full, z couldn’t turned down the Baked Chocolate Mousse (bittersweet chocolate & dulce de leche ice cream). I’m glad he ordered it though, it was so good!

We had such a great meal from beginning to end. I think we would definitely go back the next time we’re in NOLA!

On our way home I met a friend…
