Ginger-Soy Marinated Salmon.

z traveled this week. His flight was cancelled on Tuesday night, so I quickly went to the store to get supplies for dinner.

I was inspired by this salmon…isn’t it beautiful?

Marinade = ginger, garlic, honey, soy sauce and water

First, sautéed garlic, ginger and chili flakes, then added salt and water for the rice to take a bath in!

The salmon marinated for about 30 minutes then went under the broiler, on high, for about 7.5 minutes.

I dumped the remaining marinade in a pan and brought it up to a boil for a couple minutes so it could reduce and be used as a sauce (RealSimple is genius!).

To finish off the meal, I made an herb butter, with organic sweet cream butter and fresh chopped rosemary, to spread on top of naan before it went under the broiler.

It was a beautiful meal (if I do say so myself).

I had leftovers for two more days! Yum :)
