In Memory of Grandma “B”

My Grandma “B” passed away on Saturday morning. I can’t say I was too surprised because her health had been fading over the past week. I went up a lot during the week to visit with her and tell her how much she means to me. I’m happy she’s no longer in pain, but I’m going to miss her so much.

Grandma “B” is my mom’s mom. We called her Grandma “B” because we were so blessed to have two other grandma’s and we needed to distinguish them! If you think one grandma spoils you…just think about having three grandma’s growing up! It was such a blessing!

She was a strong woman, friend, mom, sister, aunt, and grandma!

Grandma “B” helped take care of me during the first few weeks of my life.

I was her first born grandchild, but she had many more after me!

She even had a great-granddaughter!

She was very supportive…

She was a great cook and cookie decorator…

She loved to wear bold colors! She always looked great with her outfits, her hair and…her lipstick!

She was extremely funny! I like to think I got some of her sense of humor…she was seriously hilarious. Most times she didn’t even need to say anything…she just rolled her eyes or moved her eyebrows!

She loved her family more than anything…

I learned so much about strength from Grandma “B.” I can rest easily knowing she’s in a better place now!

I love you Grandma “B” <3

  1. And she loved you and all her grandchildren. I look at the pictures and most of her big smiles and crazy faces were when she was surrounded by her grandchildren. This is a beautiful remembrance and celebration of a life well-lived. I love you. MOM
