A Happy Thanksgiving in California!

On Tuesday morning, z and I drove to the airport and headed to San Francisco! z’s sister (A) and brother-in-law (P) live just outside San Fran so his sister was nice enough to pick us up!! When we got to their house, I was anxious to meet the new addition to their family…

Meet Samba Smile This is their new “puppy” (he’s eight months, but 80 pounds!!)!

Since our flight was slightly less than pleasant (7 hours in the air??), we kept dinner simple!

Wine first.

On Wednesday morning, we got up and headed to the Stanford campus to hike around “The Dish.”

Our little stroll turned into a gorgeous 4-mile hike Smile

After our hike it was time to shop for Thanksgiving provisions. A had a list of everything she needed (including a turkey!) and we were in and out without a problem.

I think we did pretty well…
